Chip Carving has been around for centuries literally.
it has it's roots in Switzerland and is called Kirb schnitzen.
One of the most famous and widely published chip carvers known today is
Wayne Barton. Another well known chip carver living near Pigeon Forge is
Pam Gresham. She is a popular name that has several books out on the
subject.
Both authors have had an impact on my carving ability
and wood working inspiration.
As you can see several of the pieces in the pictures,
the nature of the work is form with a function. I create several
different pieces and panels that range from clocks, to trivets, to
