Synopsis |
|
“The Dynamic
Metaphostic Engine, Your Personal Change Vehicle for Your Brain” by
Donald V. Phillips is a recipe for the creation of mental pathways to
powerful performance and achievement. The book taps the most powerful
organ in your body, your brain, to unleash the potential we each have to
overcome difficulty, endure hardship, create a desirable future,
anticipate and discover the joy of living. At times our life feels like
we are flying down the road with no one’s hand on the wheel. The author
has developed a way for us to grab the steering wheel of our life and
get this vehicle headed in the right direction. This is accomplished by
exploring the four Laws of the Dynamic Metaphostic Engine. The word
“Metaphostic” is a Greek amalgam of two root words one being Meta which
means above, transformational as in metamorphosis, and phostic which is
the word for the nature of light. Metaphostic is transformational light.
It is dynamic in nature meaning always changing, powerfully clear. The
four Laws describe the fluid nature of our thinking and emotional
processes of how we have arrived at our belief and understanding of who
we are. The Four Laws of the Dynamic Metaphostic Engine help us to
remember how to influence change to regain control of a life out of
balance and bring the light of our focus on our Life Aims. Part of
creating the Dynamic Metaphostic Engine is realizing the power our
Dominant Life Values have on motivating us to the destination of our
goals. The law of convergence helps the reader understand how to harness
the horsepower of values to motivate them to change. Using the law of
filters helps us discover the influence our beliefs have on decisions we
make and how to exchange false beliefs with beliefs that are true. We
discover that beliefs act like filters to purify and filter out thoughts
and actions. Thirdly we are introduced to the power of our emotional
states and how we can use our emotions to energize our engines to
increase speed and momentum toward our goals. The law of Brilliance
introduces us to the process of changing states. Finally, we discover
how to use the law of focus to engage our navigational guidance system
to get on target for life. The last section of the book describes how
individuals can connect their Dynamic Metaphostic Engine to
organizations and groups as well as leaders of groups and organizations
connecting the Organization’s Dynamic Metaphostic Engine to it’s
members, constituents and customers. The author shows how to use
questions to develop a strategy for discovering the power within for
overcoming almost anything. Each chapter was put through the same
process of asking the questions, “Is this really significant? Will this
help the reader? What more do I need to include to help others
understand the process? Strap yourself in and get ready for the ride of
a lifetime as we power up your Dynamic Metaphostic Engine!

Praise/Reviews |

From Kenn, family
friend…
“I learned that what I thought and verbalized was keeping me from
attaining victory in whatever I was dealing with. I came to realize in
reading the book that by changing what I thought and spoke, much of
which was not true, I could take charge of my life, find peace,
happiness and success that I longed for and needed. The greatest truth
for me was that I am in charge of my mind, not my mind in charge of me.”
From personal
friend, Donavan…
“The whole mental process of the book is intriguing. I believe Don has
caught on to something here that we can all learn from. As an engineer,
I find I don’t always come up with the level of creativity and ingenuity
called for in my position. Don’s discussion of building a launch pad for
the next level of our achievement has helped me conceptualize two new
processes for creating and designing that I hadn’t thought of before.”
From colleague and friend, Dirk…
“The spiritual aspect of finding peace was a big help for me. Reading
about Don’s own journey and discovery of the power for personal change
in his transformational thinking was a real help for my own personal
transformation. The exercises helped me focus my personal goals for
spiritual growth and pursuit of excellence in serving God.”
