Gantry & side rails installed, Electronics connected to the motors, drawer installed, router installed.
SUCCESS!!! With everything installed, the machine has come to life and is moving with GO Codes!
My next step is to learn everything I can about how to program, draw and translate lines into machine friendly instructions.
My first creation on the Machine carved in MDF as a test:
This is my first creation on my new machine.
I created a line art drawing from a photo, then transferred it
as a CAD file and created the machine language g-codes.
The machine did the rest with a router.
First customer job...
This is a raised letter/image relief created using CamBam Height Map Generator Plug-in. The
size is 14.5 x 23.133" and was carved using a V-Groove Router bit in Red Oak. I left the passes rough for a textured look.
The end process removed the corners, loose debris and left the sign in an oval shape. The big smiles told the
story of a happy client.
