We covet your prayers...
As you think about your part in the ministry of building up the church of Jesus Christ we at Bright Star Life Coaching Services covet your prayers. We are in a battle over souls. We believe Christ builds His church and that he has called believers everywhere to join that battle to win ground for the sake of the cross of Christ. Will join us in praying for the work of the church, for pastors and congregations called to this work of excellent worship, and building community through small groups?
-Pray that God will put a hedge of protection around us as we travel to different church and ministry sites. Will you pray with us for our safety?
-Pray that congregations will find encouragement and direction as they build on the passion of following the command of Christ to make disciples. Will you pray with us for the encouragement of congregations that desire to grow?
-Pray that God will always remain the center of the work we do and that He will continue to bring a strong focus of our purpose in all we do as we seek to join Him where He is at work on the Earth today. Will you pray that God will continue to focus us in our work?
-Pray that God will provide the workers, for the harvest is great but the workers are few. Bill Hybels spoke at a Volunteers in Ministry event at the Vineyard Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. He shared that there are three factors in how ministry moves forward. First is the X factor which equals the paid staff, second is the Y factor which represents unpaid volunteers and third is the Z factor which represents the outcome of ministry. The church has very limited resources when it comes to paid staff and not many churches will survive only lead by paid staff as the work increases. Pray that volunteers will come forward to fill the gap of the Y factor in ministry so there can be an explosion in the Z factor of ministry! Will you join us in passionate prayer for the work of the church to continue? Will you pray with us that God will supply the workers?
Let us know you are praying!
